Jason Reagan

Development Pastor

Jason Reagan was born and raised just a short distance from Macedonia Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. He attended Eagle’s Landing High School. After graduating he attended Gordon State College, in Barnesville, GA and graduated with an Associate’s degree in Psychology. From there he went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in Science and Agriculture with a focus on Soil Science. Jason then earned his Master’s degree from Liberty University in Arts and Religion with a focus on discipleship.

Jason has been married since 1999 to the love of his life, Candy. They met while in college at a Baptist Student Union conference in 1996. Candy was attending the University of West Georgia at the time while Jason was at Gordon State College. Even though they started out in a long distance relationship, they both know God was leading them toward a lifetime together.

Jason and Candy have one daughter named Hannah. She was born in 2004. Hannah has graduated high school and is currently studying to go into the field of Radiology. Hannah attends Macedonia and is active on the Worship Team.

Jason was very involved in church growing up but didn’t feel the call into ministry until 2010 while attending Macedonia. He began to meet with the lead pastor at the time and pursued this calling by coming on staff as the Men’s Pastor. Since that time, Jason has held other staffing roles at Macedonia but currently holds the position of Development Pastor and Interim Youth Pastor.

As the Development Pastor, Jason’s primary role is helping shape the spiritual formation of our church attenders along with aiding in community outreach. This is carried out through transitioning new attenders into small groups, also known as M-Pact Groups. Other areas of spiritual formation can include meeting one on one with attenders to see how they are progressing in their spiritual growth. The main objective is to see people progress in their spiritual development by understanding God’s word and applying it in their lives.
